The human behind the treats... and the lens!

By day, I’m a data nerd—deep in people analytics and endlessly curious about human behavior at work. By heart, I’m a storyteller.

Pawsitive Portraits is where structure meets soul. It’s my creative counterbalance to corporate life, built on presence, connection, and moments that matter most.

At the center of it all is a simple truth: I’m a girl whose life was turned upside down and inside out by a dog. This work exists to honor that kind of love, and to preserve it for others who feel it just as deeply.

Meet My Pack

July 15, 2013—the first day at my big girl job. I came home to an empty apartment, proud of my independence… and immediately realized I hated being alone. I knew I wanted a dog, but apparently “zero dog experience” makes you untrustworthy in the eyes of every shelter.

So, naturally… Craigslist.

There, in the sketchiest corner of Niagara Falls, NY, I met the best decision I’ve ever made. Questionable location. Questionable humans. Questionable judgment. Perfect dog.

A couple years later, we adopted a momma’s boy. Then COVID hit, and we added a lovable, but CRAZY mutt who completed our little family—chaos, cuddles, zoomies, and all.

Every family has a heartbeat—and for many of us, it comes with four paws and a wagging tail. Through Pawsitive Portraits, I aim to capture the love, personality, and connection pets bring to your life, creating portraits that tell your family’s full story—from playful chaos to quiet snuggles. These images celebrate the joy, laughter, and unconditional love that make your family truly whole.
